Persa (she/her)
Persa is an educator and researcher focusing on institutional inequalities shaped by normative regimes of gender and sexuality. Her work explores how education can become a space for social transformation and collective change, bringing together queer feminist research, teaching, and practice. She has been a founding member of Aphrodite* queer-feminist project in athens.
Martina (she/them)
Martina is working at the intersection of architecture and urban planning, weaving together activism, creativity and community. She is passionate about everyday and collective acts of resistance, whether it’s through grassroots initiatives, queer spaces, feminist choirs, or neighborhood organising, that allow people to bypass denied resources and co-create inclusive spaces. Their current work is focusing on tourist landscapes, touristification and the spatialities of seasonal labour.
Marachi (they/them)
Born in Heraklion Creta, Marachi studied Physical Education and Political Science in Athens and gender Studies in Lesvos. They became active in left-wing and LGBTQI organizing, organising several festivals and actions. They have worked across Heraklion, Athens, Lesvos and now Berlin, where they combine public-school teaching and sexual diversity education with community events as drag performer and workshop facilitator. Marachi integrates somatic methods, poetry, and performance in education and community work.
Maria (she/her)
Maria is an architect and has participated in women’s working groups, fostering collaboration, feminist approaches, and community-led spatial practices. Actively engaged in lesbian and queer communities, she has contributed to the creation of queer spaces that support non-normative ways of being, collective sociality, and activist practices. She is a founding member of the Beaver Womens Cooperativa in Athens.
Christina (she/they)
Christina is an artist, researcher and curator. She is working across performance, choreography, writing, and music. Her research interests revolve around trans and queer studies, transformation, subjectivation, autotheory, and citation politics.
Sofia (she/her)
Sofia (sofiadona.com) is a visual artist, filmmaker, and architect whose queer-feminist practice explores social, political, and economic issues through site-specific and collaborative projects. She is a member of the queer-feminist film colelctive Nionia Films with who they are making an archive of queer films in Greece. Together with Persa she has been a founding member of Aphrodite* queer-feminist project in Athens. She has been a Fulbright scholar and received the City of Munich Prize for Architecture (2018), she was an Onassis AiR fellow and receive ARTOWRKS Grant 2025. Her latest work in progress ‘ILIOVASILEMATA‘ explores lesbian cruising in Attika as a way to resist the urban developemnt of Elliniko. Her short film STONETHROWERS (2025) focused on the role of women in the 1916 miners’ strike on Serifos, a historic uprising that led to Greece’s eight-hour workday. She has been teaching in various universities including as HfBK (Dresden) and TUM departmnet of Architecture (Munich).
Lou (they/them)
-Lou (they/them) is a drag performer, organizer, and writer raised in Crete and now based in Athens. They are interested in mutual aid practices, queering ethics, and environmental Justice.
